The leading edge you’re searching for isn’t external. And it isn’t something new.
It’s your true self—your inner Being.
Align your being with your doing, and watch your life transform.
Most founders focus on doing:
-
Strategy
-
Execution
-
Decisions
But before taking action, go within and connect with your essence. Ask yourself:
-
Does this fulfill me?
-
Am I being authentic?
-
Am I using my unique abilities?
-
Is this aligned with my beliefs?
Or are you just playing a part—a version of who you think you should be?
Pay attention if you feel tense, stressed, or frustrated. These are signs you’re out of alignment.
Sometimes, what your business requires no longer aligns with who you are now. You have options:
-
Hire someone to run your business for you.
-
Exit and pursue something that aligns with who you are today.
Both choices are valid. The only mistake is ignoring the signs.
I experienced this in my first business. We grew every year for 18 years. But as I grew personally and spiritually, tasks like sales, contract negotiations, and management became less fulfilling.
So I chose to exit—to write a book and teach.
Helping other founders feels aligned now. What’s calling to you?
If you feel the urge to change, trust it. But pause before taking action.
Start with presence. Ground yourself in Being:
-
Dedicate time for stillness. Meditative walking, silence, or journaling works. Let go of needing an outcome.
-
Repeat this mantra daily: “I am enough. There’s nothing I need to prove.”
-
Be present. Observe. Pause before acting. Ask, “Is this aligned with my higher Self?” Then feel the answer.
Discover who you are. Feel the essence of your being.
Let your actions flow naturally from there.
